Vexille: The Intergraded Akira

Since 2007, the year of Vexille release, this anime film was sold to more than one hundred countries.
The success of the film can be justified by the interesting story it tells. However, for me Vexille is too similar to one-off epochal anime, Akira.

I found out about Vexille in writing college essays on industrial development. It was written that technology development is a very disputable issue which is even considered in cartoons. I could not but watch this anime. I must say that it is an excellent CGI work revealing an interesting plot and outstanding animation. Moreover, I really enjoyed animation! It was a surprise for me since I do not believe in CGI anime. However, I also felt a kind of déjà vu. I happened to read at a custom paper writing service which claimed that Vexille is something unique. I can draw many parallels between this recent anime and the best anime film ever, Akira. It also deals with Japan’s future which is not that bright – the world after World War III is depicted.

Of course, both anime films feature a lot of military technologies. I love Akira because it is the best illustration of a perfect anime (nice story, great colors, fascinating by hand animation). And now I can say that there is one more perfect anime film (even despite CGI animation) which keeps to the central principles of conventional anime and helps to enter its bright reality.
